AUTHENTIC ALPINE COW BELL

Your authentic cow bell is made in Germany with brass bell and coloured felt strap

TRADITIONAL PRODUCT

The traditional Alpine cowbell has been used since the late 14th and early 15th century. Cows were given bells upon leaving the winter barns, so they would not become lost in the Alpine mountains. 

If the cow was of high quality (producing the best calf or milk), the cows were given larger and deeper resonating bells.
