Shipping policy

OUR GUARANTEE

Every parcel is assigned a tracking number and insured for breakages. We take the upmost care and pride in making sure your items arrive at your door promptly, safely, and to your satisfaction.

STANDARD DELIVERY

All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

EXPRESS DELIVERY

All Express delivery orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

CUSTOM ORDER FROM OVERSEAS

Some 8 Day Mechanical Cuckoo Clocks are custom ordered and take at least 1 month to make by the clock makers in Germany. It will usually take an additional month for the clock to be shipped to our store in South Australia, examined and quality control checked by our staff, and then sent on to your residential address.

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

Standard Shipping:

All orders over $300 are included in our free standard shipping promotion.*

All other orders under $299.99 are a flat rate fee of $30 per order.*

Express Shipping:

All express orders are a flat rate fee of $45 per order.*

*Oversized Shipping:

Some oversized items have additional shipping fees and do not quality for the above rates. Proceed to cart to see shipping costs. 

In-Store Pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at The German Village Shop Hahndorf S.A. Contact us at info@thegermanvillageshop.com.au to arrange payment or invoice to skip shipping. Or to arrange to hold a product to pay in store.

Our in-store pickup hours are 10am to 5pm weekdays and 9:30am to 5:30pm weekends and public holidays. 

International Shipping

We offer international shipping to the following countries: New Zealand

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. 

Due to current shipping costs and restrictions, we have limited our international shipping availability for most countries. We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
