TRADITIONAL

These antique weather stations have been crafted in Germany since the 1700's.

Based on the design of Bavarian chalet's, these weatherhouses will depict the weather and temperature. 

Utilizing absorbent materials (such as horse hair) the figures inside the chalet emerge and retreat depending on the weather. The lady in her summer dirndl will emerge when the weather is warm and dry, whereas the the man - often in a raincoat and holding an umbrella will emerge on wet days.
