Cuckoo Clock Quartz - Musical chalet with wood chopper

A handmade cuckoo clock in the traditional Black Forest chalet style with a hand carved shingled roof, bell tower and ornate balcony. This chalet had been made using two differently treated Linden wood timbers, one in its natural form and the other with a light walnut stain. Hand carved green window shutters, pine trees, two deer, St. Bernard dog and kennel complete this iconic Black Forest scene. It also features a wooden dial and wooden clock hands. The little Cuckoo door opens, the Cuckoo Bird looks out and the cuckoo calls on the hour according to the time and after each call is followed by an echo. The wood chopper chops, the water wheel turns and the dancers dressed in traditional black forest clothing dance around as one of the 12 alternating melodies play as one of the 12 alternating melodies play. The clock comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Clock movement: Quartz movement (battery operated) with light sensor for automatic night turn off. There is also a switch to manually turn off the cuckoo and music.
