Cuckoo Clock Quartz - Musical chalet with beer drinker

This traditional Black Forest Chalet cuckoo clock features a handmade shingled roof, chimney, red shutters on the windows and a hand carved German beer drinker. The balcony detailing has been hand made using two differently treated linden wood timbers This Iconic Black Forest scene is completed with hand carved pine tee's, a St. Bernard dog and small stones acquired from the streams in the Black Forest arranged delicately at the base of the chalet. It also features a wooden dial and wooden clock hands. The little Cuckoo door opens, the Cuckoo Bird looks out and the cuckoo calls on the hour according to the time and after each call is followed by an echo. The beer drinker slams his mug on the table, the water wheel turns and the dancers dressed in traditional black forest clothing dance around as one of the 12 alternating melodies play. The clock comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Clock movement: Quartz movement (battery operated) with light sensor for automatic night turn off. There is also a switch to manually turn off the cuckoo and music.
