Cuckoo Clock Quartz - Chalet with rocking horse & turning water wheel

The traditional Black Forest Chalet has a handmade roof and hand carved figurines including a young German girl on a rocking horse. This chalet had been made using two differently treated Linden wood timbers, one in its natural form and the other with a light walnut stain. Hand carved pine trees and a bird complete this iconic black forest scene. It also features a wooden dial and wooden clock hands. The little Cuckoo door opens, the Cuckoo Bird looks out and the cuckoo calls on the hour according to the time and after each call is followed by an echo. The girl rocks on her wooden horse and the water wheel turns as one of the 12 alternating melodies play. The clock comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Clock movement: Quartz movement (battery operated) with light sensor for automatic night turn off. There is also a switch to manually turn off the cuckoo and music.
